Did I like the book? Option A: Yes, Yanira is a 100% Maxwell-style protagonist, strong and with character, who doesn’t let anyone walk all over her.Option B: Yes, I love Dylan from the beginning. He seems to be totally oblivious to her, but deep down he keeps an eye on her.Option C: Yes. Dylan’s family is a real handful. I felt like saying four little things to the Ogre. And Yanira’s family, hilarious. I really like Yanira’s siblings, especially the one who’s a geek about the War of the World.

And Yanira’s family, hilarious. Yanira’s siblings really caught my attention, especially the Star Wars geek.which option should I choose? Well, all of them. I liked it a lot. Now I’m waiting for the days to pass quickly and for June to come and we can read the end of this bilogy.

Megan Maxwell sells a lot of books and I suppose she does it because of the originality of her plots and the mastery she has to link the lives of her characters, respecting the experiences that each one of them lives throughout the story.This novel is a clear example of that and, although it is undeniable that the background of the CSF club is more than picturesque, the writing is – by counterpoint – poor and rough.This makes me wonder what sells more: the story or the way of telling it to the readers?
